Abstract Submission Guidelines
THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT IS MARCH 1, 2026.
The Society of Robotic Surgery (SRS) invites abstract submissions for presentation at the SRS 2026 Annual Meeting, to be held July 23–26, 2026, in Hollywood, Florida.
Abstract Guidelines
- Length: 385–500 words (excluding title and authors).
- Title: ≤200 characters.
- Images: Max 2 (≤525×343 px, ≤50MB each; formats: png, gif, jpg, jpeg).
- Language: English only
- The submitting author will receive confirmation via email; please notify co-authors.
Submission Requirements
- Abstracts will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Depending on the number of submissions received and the progress of the review process, multiple submission deadlines may be established.
- The first submission deadline is March 1, 2026. All abstracts must be submitted through the online submission system. Emailed submissions will not be accepted.
- Authors will be notified of acceptance as reviews are completed to support timely visa letter requests.
- Live presentations only (no virtual option).
- Select an appropriate category/track.
Note: If the Abstract Review Committee determines that a different category or track is more appropriate for your submission, they may reassign it accordingly. Please note that this reassignment could affect the session in which your abstract is scheduled for presentation. - Accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Robotic Surgery (copyright assigned).
- Presentation instructions will follow upon acceptance.
Oral Presentation Format
Must include:
- Purpose
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
The review committee will determine final presentation format.
Video Presentation Format
Must include the same four components as above and follow these rules:
- One subject per video.
- English narration required (music optional).
- Opening frame: title and author names.
- Must not exceed 5 minutes.
- File types: .mov or .mp4.
- Commercial content discouraged; disclose any company funding at the start.
